Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Outpatient Neurology Clinic

Arlington, TX · Full-time · Monday–Friday · $120,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience

A physician-led neurology practice is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Arlington outpatient clinic. This role suits a provider who likes a structured clinic schedule, values continuity with the same patients over time, and enjoys managing chronic neurological conditions alongside neurologists.

You will see new and established neurology patients, follow patients with seizure disorders, migraine, movement disorders, neuropathy, dementia and stroke after hospital discharge, review imaging and diagnostic results, adjust medications under established protocols, and coordinate referrals and therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new and established neurology patients
• Provide follow-up care for seizures, migraine, movement disorders, neuropathy, dementia and post-stroke patients
• Review imaging and diagnostic studies with the physician team
• Prescribe and adjust medications per established protocols
• Coordinate specialty referrals and therapy services
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP or FNP, board certified) with an active Texas APRN license, or Physician Assistant (PA-C) with an active Texas PA license
• Strong outpatient clinical skills
• Clear communication and documentation

Preferred

• Neurology or internal medicine background
• EMR proficiency
• Experience in a collaborative physician practice
